Swimming is a whole body exercise you can do for the rest of your life whatever your ability, providing benefits to both your health and fitness levels.
Swimming is a key skill and fun to do whatever your age, it is never too early or late to learn. As a parent it is reassuring to know that your child has the skills required to be safe whilst enjoying the water.
Maybe you can already swim but would like to improve your technique or learn a new stroke.
Coaching can be beneficial to athletes whether it be for cross training purposes to vary their sessions, tri athletes who want to improve their swimming time or swimmers who need improvement to specific techniques.
As a qualified swimming teacher and club coach I can give you confidence in water, allowing you to enjoy your family holidays and improve your swimming skills or training sessions.
I have taught all ages and abilities from parent and baby to county level, plus adult beginners to masters using the A.S.A. teaching plan which covers all strokes including, front crawl, back crawl, breast stroke & butterfly, plus diving skills and survival and safety awards.
The A.S.A. teaching plan, together with my vast experience in anatomy and physiology, will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the human body and how it moves through water enabling you to produce your best swimming technique.
Swimming and coaching sessions are available for adults and children, over 3 years old on a 1 to 1 basis.
