Water Therapy & Exercise

Q: I am a non swimmer, can I still do an aqua class?
A: Yes, as all classes accommodate your ability and are attended by a qualified lifeguard.


Q: Is aqua therapy or exercise for women only?
A: No, anyone is welcome, we even have an ex soldier in the classes.


Q: How long do the sessions last?
A: 45 minutes - 1 hour for classes & 30 minutes - 1 hour for 1 to 1 treatments.


Q: Do I have to bring any equipment?
A: no equipment will be provided, you only need to bring suitable swimwear & towel, pool shoes are also advisable but not essential.


Q: Can I get into the public swimming pool?
A: Aspire has a wheel chair ramp into the pool.
Harpenden & Ealing both have ladder steps, therefore you need to be able to lower yourself and pull yourself out of the pool without assistance.

Q: Will the instructor be in the water with me?
A: Yes, if required.

A: No, all equipment will be provided, you only need to bring suitable swimwear & towel.


Q: Can you come to us & do lessons in our pool?
A: Yes, I work around Harpenden, St Albans, Watford, Bushey, Stanmore, Mill Hill, Hendon, Edgware, Willesden Green, Harrow, Hatch End & Ealing to name but a few!


Q: Will swimming improve my fitness?
A: Yes, swimming is an all over body exercise, working every muscle in your body and improving your lung capacity.
